Graduate Full Stack Developer

Runcorn, Cheshire  |  Permanent

Salary: £23,000-26,000

This business is an exciting North West-based tech startup designing, developing and delivering a unique Business Intelligence & Analytics cloud-based app.

They connect a company’s existing systems and data (from any source) to give a complete, end-to-end view of their business operations, in a world class app that puts the user experience front and centre with a videogame-like design and UX.

They have just started a project for a UK super brand customer, and are about to enter a period of rapid growth, providing developers with a unique opportunity to join us at this exciting phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative team, be challenged to learn and adapt as the software platform is rapidly developed from a smaller footprint into an enterprise app for global organisations.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic full stack developer to join our growing development team. Their app has a unique gaming-style front-end that visualises JSON data endpoints from cloud servers, produced via MySQL transformations of incoming customer raw data.

They are looking for an "all-rounder" in every sense of the world for this role. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a generalist across the front- and backends, optimising configuration and performance between the frontend application (produced in C# via Unity3d) and the backend Amazon Web Services database (primarily coded in MySQL) while providing appropriate support to front- and backend developers. This requires a complete understanding and ownership of all aspects of the underlying technology, while understanding customer requirements and making improvements and implementations to the technology based on these requirements. Configuration of end-to-end enterprise-standard security will be required (e.g. security of cloud database, data at rest, data in transit to/from cloud, app security)

The app is unique as a business app designed in Unity3d, so perhaps most important is your ability and appetite to learn.

Essential to this role will be collaborative problem solving with other developers, design optimisation, performance and testing the app robustly for any and all performance or quality issues.

In summary, if you want to join a fast-growing smaller organisation, with great people, lots of opportunities to learn and add value, plus the chance to grow and develop your career within the organisation, then apply now.

You will be based in a great technology campus with a shuttle bus to connect to other major transport stations. The campus has a Costa Coffee, Canteen-style restaurant and is situated on a canal, for those who like to get some fresh air every now and then. A full Gym membership will also be included.

This will be an initial one year contract which will then be reviewed and will hopefully become permanent.

Based to the south of Warrington and commutable from Liverpool, Manchester, Runcorn, Chester and Crewe.
