This business operates nationally, providing a specific service to the construction industry - mainly as part of big projects in both public and private sectors. For example, the building or renovation of a school, shopping centre, office block or hospital.
Graduates have a key role to play in the ongoing expansion of the business, and they are looking to add a Trainee Project Manager to their northern team.
You will be working on a number projects of varying size across the North and Midlands. Full training, support and further career development will be given.
Working alongside existing Project Managers and Business Managers; you will gain experience in delivering projects on time and to the expected quality and budget, in accordance with the business vision and objectives.
You will also work closely with the Project Surveyors to make sure that the project objectives are met; continually seeking opportunities for improvement in processes, ways of working and productivity.
The role will predominately be site based and requires flexibility to travel to other sites and offices as required.
You should have a minimum of a 2:1 in a civil engineering or construction related degree, and a full UK Driving License. Some experience gained through working in a contracting environment from a work placement would be ideal.
