This established Automation Engineering company based just outside Nottingham city centre has an excellent track record in track record in taking on and developing graduates. They currently have an entry level position for a graduate engineer to join their Aftersales team in a support role.

The company provides materials handling solutions to engineering companies in the automotive, food & beverage and general manufacturing industries. Each project can be worth £120k+ so customers expect excellent quality and service. Your role will be to talk to customers regularly to diagnose problems with their machinery and recommend the best solution. This could mean sending out an experienced technician so you will learn how to price up remedial works and provide competitive quotes for the work. Using your Engineering skills, you will work to understand the particular technical fault or error and consult relevant drawings and records to propose a repair or solution.

You will be supported by an experienced team of engineers and will learn more about this company's extensive product range.  As a graduate you will be expected to get involved with challenging projects and show the willingness to become an integral part of this established company. Previous graduates have been promoted to supervisory / management roles or moved across in to more design focused positions. 

Applications will be considered from graduates of any engineering discipline; Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, Aerospace or Automotive. You must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, coupled with sound technical engineering skills. 

Ideally you will be available to start in this exciting role at the beginning of December 2018.
