Case Studies

While perhaps best known for our work championing smaller businesses, at Step we never fail to acknowledge the fantastic opportunities that larger organisations can offer for students and graduates. Our case studies demonstrate the success of previous programmes.

In fact we are very familiar with the challenges that recruiting for a larger organisation can provide. Sometimes you will be inundated with applications for one or two roles. This could take teams of people and many hours to ensure a fair process. If you haven’t got this recruitment structure already in place, or if you are dealing with multiple programmes and multiple departments then this can prove problematic.

Or alternatively, maybe you have many positions but can’t reach the standard of graduates that you want to. We know that the some candidates aren’t always aware of all opportunities and a lot of work can be required in order to reach the best-suited candidates.  Whether this is travelling around the country going from campus to campus for careers fairs and talks or creating job adverts on dozens of university and other external job boards, all of this can be very time consuming.

We can be of assistance in all these circumstances and are more than capable of running large volume recruitment programmes. You can find our more about our programmes on our services & fees page. Each programme receives, as standard:

  • A bespoke landing page on our website to direct students and graduates to engage directly with your brand, through Step.
  • Social Media campaigns to maximise the presence of your brand during the course of the academic year and beyond.
  • Representation for your brand on campus, as part of our winter and spring tours.
  • Targeted newsletters to our 50,000+ student and graduate database.

Here are a few case studies of where we’ve brought success to four very different large-scale recruitment programmes

If you have a programme or roles in mind that you could use our assistance with please do get in touch. You can call us on 0115 871 8740 or drops us an email at info@step.org.uk.
