Designed to complement your existing talent attraction strategy, we offer an opportunity to access a wider pool of high-calibre candidates without having to source them directly via additional advertising and/or an increased university presence.

With 1500+ new registrations a month, our one-stop application process for students and recent graduates captures first class candidates that may have limited their final year applications to just the two or three corporate recruiters. Combined with our automated response-handling system, Step Talent Bank provides an automated, ranked, sift of potential candidates across a client-set range of parameters.

The Step Talent Bank is available on an annual subscription basis and can be incorporated with additional advertising and campus representation tools as required.

About Step

Launched in 1986 originally as part of Shell UK’s social investment activities, and now run independently, we have supported over 22,000 Step placements for students and recent graduates in businesses right across the UK.  

Ranging from engineering and communications to the creative industries and global sports brands, the programme is delivered by a dedicated network of experienced partners including universities, business support and training providers.

Placement Services

Our complete placement and internship service includes:

  • advertising the role on www.step.org.uk and University partner sites;
     
  • managing the response;
     
  • interviewing and shortlisting of candidates against your criteria;
     
  • providing you with a shortlist;
     
  • managing the interview arrangements; and
     
  • administering the candidate’s training allowance and all related paperwork.

 

 

Advertising Services

A new low cost direct advertising option is available enabling businesses to engage with Step candidates directly and manage the selection process independently.

Send us details of your internship opportunity, we’ll place it on our Opportunities Portal and give you direct access to applicant CVs via our new Client Portal. From here you'll be able to view applications and contact any suitable candidates direct.

Advertising rates start from as little as £180+VAT per internship for a period of 30 days.
