Salary: £18,000-24,000 plus bonus
Are you a recent graduate (ideally technological or electronic / electrical engineering or similar) who is looking for something a bit different? Or perhaps a graduate with electronics knowledge and sales or customer service experience?
This business provides a range of electronic related products and services to other businesses in a range of industry sectors. They are looking for a graduate to join their business development team.
You will be primarily responding to direct phone calls and emails from existing customers, plus website leads for potential customers. In addition, there will be some pro-active outbound calls to businesses on the database.
You will be advising them on technical configurations and equipment options and generating quotes. In time, there will be the opportunity to get involved with the strategic side, helping the field engineers to develop a business plan for key areas. There will also be a customer care aspect to the role, for example helping with any issues that come up once the sale has been made.
An extensive induction programme is provided, this will include sales, commercial and product training. In the longer-term there will be the opportunity to progress within the organisation.
While some experience in test and measurement equipment or working in the technology industry would be ideal, this can be taught. The main thing is that you are happy speaking with people, a great communicator, resilient, and a good learner.
The salary would be between £18,000-24,000 depending on experience; you will get a bonus dependent on performance- meaning you could earn between £24,000 to £30,000.
