Calling all 2020 graduates! A rare opportunity has arisen for a Computer Science / Technology graduate to join this small, growing technology business based in East London.
The purpose of this role is to work with customers to help them understand the software solutions which can help their businesses manage their data. This established business is growing and having taken on a gap year graduate last year, a role has been carved out for an ambitious graduate to join the team and establish a successful career. This customer facing role will involve giving clear product demonstrations for which you will need to develop a good understanding of the products on offer (training will be provided). You will meet with clients to build up a strong understanding of their requirements and propose the best technology solution for their business. The technical skills from your degree will help you to do this and your customer service skills will help you to build rapport with your clients to give them the best service.
As well as working with clients, you will need to work closely with your technical colleagues to feedback in to the product development cycle and give your valuable input on the development of new products as well updating the existing product offering.
To be successful in this role you will hold a degree in a computing or scientific discipline and will have knowledge of at least one or more of the following technologies: Microsft Azure, MS windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory and Office 365
You will be confident dealing with business customers on the phone and using video / screen sharing technology and will be able to demonstrate an enjoyment for problem solving. Whilst you will receive support and training from the wider team, you must be able to work independently and make decisions for yourself. Most importantly, you must be able to communicate technical information, to non technical audiences in a way which results in confidence and trust.
Any experience in a support, customer service or pre-sales (Account management) environment will be beneficial to your application but is by no means essential. A good all round understanding of document management software such as Micro Focus Content Manager, iManager, SharePoint of Records 365 will be an advantage, as well as File Analytics and Data Discovery Software. An appreciation of the implications of GDPR will be of real importance and any exposure to Privacy Management Tools (OneTrust) would also be desirable.
