An immigration practice that supports both Businesses and Individuals with European and worldwide Immigration applications, has an opportunity for an experienced Immigration practitioner to join their team of specialist legal executives.  The role may also be suitable for a Law graduate seeking an alternate legal career path as the company provides excellent career development and the opportunity to gain formal qualifications. 

Under a formal Supervision Plan, you will train towards Level 1 registration with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).

Accurately following instructions to ensure that stakeholders/clients are kept informed regarding their application. Drafting and checking documents/applications for international clients, as well as assisting with the preparation and submission for UK and global applications. Being able to work in a team is essential to build relationships with both UK and overseas colleagues, where you will communicate to understand a client’s application. Working individually is also vital to be able to conduct your own research or to follow a training plan.

Within this role, you will also assist with the marketing activities with the China team. Possible tasks within this could be undertaking research, carrying out market analysis, supporting sales strategies and possibly organising events.

  • Bilingual in English and one Chinese language.
  • Degree level education
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to communicate both written and orally at all levels
  • Prioritise and multitask effectively under pressure
  • Work well in a team and on your own
  • Willingness to learn new areas
  • Experience in the service sector or marketing is desirable but not essential
