I’m Kirsty and I am the University Placement Executive here at Step.
My role is to provide support to students at the University of Greenwich studying within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. I provide employability training, deliver workshops, and assist students on a 1-2-1 basis. My main goal is to help students secure placements for their industrial placement year and ensure that they are happy and fulfilled within their role.
In addition to my role at Step, I am studying Psychology at the University of Bradford. As a student myself, I understand the difficulty surrounding gaining valuable work experience, so this role is really rewarding as I can support students and offer my personal insight to ensure they secure the best role suited for them.
I enjoy travelling both nationally and internationally – I’ve visited over 4 countries so far. As well I like music – this is both attending concerts and playing instruments such as the violin and keyboard.
