You will:
  • Undertake structural design on a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects within the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors on projects up to £30 million in value, supported by the structural engineering team
Attributes and Key Skills
You will:
  • Hold a BEng/MEng in civil or structural engineering
  • Have a good understanding of structural design and structural analysis in most common materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Be familiar with AutoCAD and engineering software
  • Be capable of managing deadlines and organising your own work
  • Use your initiative and work well as part of a team
  • Be able to communicate effectively and in a competent manner
  • Be capable of  liaising with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Produce accurate structural design calculations and drawings supported by the structural team
  • Be a positive team member
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport
Salary
Attractive salary ranging from £24,000-£26,000 with the prospects of long-term development within a growing company
