PGM Reball is a Hinckley based manufacturer of specialist ballscrews, supplying to the aerospace and defence industries. Working within AS90100 standards, they are ramping up production due to important new UK government contracts.

This internship will allow an Engineering Student or Graduate to apply their knowledge and skills developed during their university course to a real world engineering issue.  This MRP Implementation project has been in 'implementation' phase for nearly two years and needs additional resource with the right approach and achievement focus to implement the project before our production volumes increase significantly.  

As part of the implementation, the intern will first need to measure Supplier delivery and supplier scrap data to analyse supplier performance.  In addition the intern will need to observe working practices and analyse inhouse scrap data to identify areas for process improvement and employee development. 

To be successful in this paid internship opportunity, applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of engineering processes / workflows/ Route Planning / BOMs / Tooling alongside a logical approach, the ability to work independently, research skills, strong numerical skills and digital literacy.

This internship would be best suited to applicants with an Engineering Degree, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace engineering although other disciplines will be considered.
