Graduate Machinery Safety Engineer – Nottingham – £26,000–£28,000

Are you a recent engineering graduate with a passion for safety and innovation? This growing Nottingham based engineering company are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Graduate Machinery Safety Engineer.

As they expand and take on larger clients, they are looking for someone to support with safety documentation, risk assessments, and contribute to the development of user manuals for standard products. You’ll work closely with an experienced team, who will mentor you and help you grow into the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in machinery safety, work with cutting-edge robotics and automation, and be part of a company that values progression and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conducting and supporting risk assessments
• Assisting in safety reporting and documentation
• Collaborating with project engineers to embed safety into design
• Helping develop standard product manuals and safety procedures
• Attending internal meetings and contributing to safety strategy

What We’re Looking For:

• This opportunity is ideal for a candidates with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (safety modules are a bonus)
• Interest in machinery safety and health & safety practices
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• A driving license is an advantage but not essential
