As a key player in industrial automation sector this growing Nottingham based company is looking for a Graduate Design Engineer. As a leader in the industry they design, manufacture, and integrate advanced conveyor systems and automation solutions for industries such as retail, food and beverage, healthcare, and manufacturing. Specialising in modular conveyors, robotic palletising, sortation systems, and warehouse automation, offering tailored solutions to improve logistics and production efficiency.

About the Role
Your day-to-day will centre around 3D design using SolidWorks, which will be your primary tool. You'll also work with 2D CAD layout references to build designs from the ground up, and produce detailed production drawings to bring concepts to life. You'll take ownership of projects, liaising with key account stakeholders and internal teams to ensure everything stays on track, while occasionally engaging with suppliers to source materials and coordinate with external partners.

We're open to graduates from a range of design backgrounds in particular Mechanical Engineering. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.

Essential skills:

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (daily use).
• Solid IT skills, especially Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Confident communicator - able to speak with customers and internal teams.
• Strong maths skills - essential for design accuracy and problem-solving.
