The Challenge
In a fast-paced industry, quoting delays can mean lost contracts. JWA have recognised a need to improve their processes to speed up quoting. 

Your mission: develop an AI-powered dashboard that streamlines stock visibility and material pricing, reducing quoting time to just two days. This project will directly impact their win rate, machine utilisation, and profitability.

What You’ll Do As our Digital Intern, you’ll:
  • Analyse current cost estimation and bidding workflows.
  • Design and build a dashboard integrating historical and real-time pricing data.
  • Develop a prototype AI agent to automate data collection from online sources.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Validate the solution through trial runs and create a user guide for deployment.

  • Duration: 6-7 weeks
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Paid: In line with minimum wage legislation
  • Support: Direct mentorship from the Managing Director, access to AI tools, and collaboration with the internal team.
