About the Company
The Chocolatier Ltd is a UK-based food manufacturer specialising in high-quality chocolate products. The business supplies a growing customer base and is focused on improving operational efficiency, particularly during peak trading periods such as Christmas and Easter.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on intern to support a key digital transformation project focused on implementing a new ERP/MRP system.
The business currently holds a large amount of operational data that is not well structured or easily accessible. This internship will focus on cleaning, organising and improving data quality, enabling better system visibility and supporting the successful rollout of a new ERP solution.
This is a practical role, ideal for someone who wants to gain real-world experience working on a live business system implementation, with a strong emphasis on data handling and process improvement.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Clean, organise and structure existing business data
  • Support ERP/MRP system implementation and optimisation
  • Assist with data migration into the new system
  • Map current processes and identify inefficiencies
  • Improve data visibility across stock, purchasing and production
  • Support development of simple dashboards for operational insight
  • Contribute to improved forecasting using historical and seasonal data
The key outcomes of this project include improving data quality, enabling clearer system visibility, supporting better decision-making and creating a strong foundation for ongoing digital transformation.

About You
We are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate with an interest in data, systems and digital transformation.
Relevant disciplines include Data Analytics, Computer Science, Big Data or similar.

Skills & Experience:
  • Strong Excel or data handling skills
  • Ability to organise and structure data effectively
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Interest in ERP/CRM systems and business processes (beneficial)
  • Understanding of data analysis, databases and dashboard development
This role does not require highly specialised experience, just a willingness to learn and apply core data skills in a practical environment.

This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, working on a real-world digital transformation project that will improve efficiency, data visibility and decision-making across the business.

The internship is due to start at the start of July 2026 for 225 hours which can be completed full time or part time around your studies.
