About the Company:

Evolve Organic Beauty is a certified organic skincare brand that makes its products at its own eco studio in Hertfordshire and sells in around 30 countries. They are looking for a clear-thinking intern to help them get more from the systems that run their business. Working closely with the Founder and with the sales, ecommerce and operations teams, you will build reporting dashboards, connect data between systems, and help remove manual steps in how customers are managed and set up

About the Internship:

This is a hands-on project role where clear communication and good judgement matter more than deep technical experience. Much of the work uses no-code tools, so you do not need to be a developer, but you do need to understand data and be able to explain it clearly.
The internship will be hybrid, with two days a week at the Good Ventures Eco Studio in St Albans and three days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Reporting and dashboards
  • Build and maintain dashboards in the analytics tool, Menza, so the sales team can see
  • how their accounts and products are performing.
  • Work with each member of the sales team to understand what they need to see, then turn it into clear, accurate reporting.
  • Check the numbers against the source systems for reliability.
  • Set up simple alerts, for example flagging customers who have not ordered for a while.
2) Connecting systems and removing manual steps
  • Use no-code connector tools such as Zapier and Make.com to move and enrich data between the CRM (Prospect) and operations system (CIN7).
  • Help automate the manual step in setting up a new customer, so that details flow between systems without re-keying.
  • Map company and contact data so it is consistent across systems.
3) Supporting forecasting
  • Build dashboards on product availability and sell-through to support our quarterly forecasting, working with our data analyst.
4) Documentation and recommendations
  • Document what you build, including process flows, field mappings and short user guides, so the team can maintain it.
  • Set out a clear view of how the systems connect, and recommend where automation could be extended across sales and operations.

Skills & Experience:
  • A clear and confident communicator in both speaking and writing
  • comfortable explaining ideas to non-technical colleagues.
  • Confident working with data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Comfortable learning and using no-code tools such as Menza, Zapier and Make.com.
  • Organised, proactive and reliable
  • Able to work independently
  • An interest in how a growing business uses data and systems to work better.
Some exposure to automation, data or analytics is helpful, but deep technical or coding experience is not required for this role. This opportunity would be well suited to candidates Studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in a data, business, analytics or related field.
