They are looking for a motivated Chemistry (or related Science) Graduate QC Analyst to join the Quality Control Laboratory team and play a key role in maintaining high standards of product quality and compliance.

The Role
As Graduate QC Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out analytical testing and quality control activities on essential oils, blends, carrier oils, and finished products. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, Development, and Purchasing teams to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical, chemical, and organoleptic analysis of essential oils, blends, and carrier oils.
- Conduct testing using analytical instrumentation including GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC, and FAME analysis.
- Sample, label, record, and analyse raw materials and finished products.
- Interpret analytical data and prepare accurate reports.
- Issue and maintain Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and Technical Data Sheets.
- Organise and maintain sample storage systems.
- Communicate testing results and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Carry out routine instrument validation and maintain validation records.
- Ensure laboratory records comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Assist in the creation and review of SOPs, testing procedures, safety documentation, and regulatory documents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.
Essential
- Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working in a laboratory or quality control environment.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques such as GC/MS, GC/FID, or HPLC.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
- Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience within the flavour, fragrance, cosmetics, food ingredients, or essential oils industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Experience preparing quality or regulatory documentation.
