TDP is a UK manufacturer of sustainable outdoor furniture made from 100% recycled plastic. Their product range includes garden benches, picnic tables, memorial benches, outdoor seating, dining sets, planters and nature-inspired garden products. TDP are committed to producing durable, low-maintenance and environmentally friendly solutions for domestic, commercial and public-sector customers.
As part of their ongoing digital transformation journey, a new manufacturing ERP system is being implemented and we are looking for a motivated intern to support this exciting business-critical project.

About the Opportunity
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the implementation of a live ERP system within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will develop practical skills in data analysis, business process mapping, software testing, project coordination and digital transformation.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Auditing, cleansing and validating customer, supplier, product, inventory and manufacturing data.
  • Preparing datasets for migration into the new ERP system.
  • Supporting ERP system configuration and testing activities.
  • Creating realistic testing scenarios and documenting issues and resolutions.
  • Working with employees across the business to understand and map current processes.
  • Producing process maps, user guides and standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting with implementation planning, project tracking and stakeholder engagement.
  • Providing progress updates and recommendations throughout the project.

Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who has:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • An interest in manufacturing, ERP systems and digital transformation
Previous ERP or MRP system experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
You'll receive dedicated support from the Commercial Director while gaining hands-on experience with a live ERP implementation project. The internship provides access to business systems, datasets and ERP software, offering valuable insight into manufacturing operations and digital transformation. You'll work closely with experienced professionals, develop practical industry skills and may have the opportunity to progress into future employment with the business upon successful completion of the internship.

This internship can be completed full time (around 37.5 hours a week for 5-6 weeks) or part time around your studies (around 25 hours a week for 8 weeks).
