I’m Elliot and I’m the Student Employability Support Officer for Year 1 master’s students at The University of Greenwich.
My role is to provide support to students at the University of Greenwich studying within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. I provide employability training, deliver workshops, and assist students on a 1-2-1 basis. My main goal is to help students secure placements for their industrial placement year and ensure that they are happy and fulfilled within their role.
In addition to this role, I am studying Politics and International Relations at Sheffield Hallam University. In my experience of searching for placements, I have realised the importance of having support during this process. I wish to use my experience to help students navigate the complex and often frustrating placement search process and use my insights to help them find roles suited to their skills and experiences.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping active and healthy by going to the gym and fencing. I also enjoy watching films in the cinema and reading books.
