The company is a UK wide training provider with many years of experience in the industry, delivering training under contract to a range of public sector and large organisations. The training they provide to their clients covers a range of subjects including health and safety, plant and machinery, soft management, and pest management.

You will be part of their internal team where you will be involved in all aspect of the Post Training process. At the moment, the Post Training team consists of 4 members, and due to their consistent growth, they are looking for a Business Support (Post Training Team) to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a highly successful business with a well-respected history.

The purpose of this role is to work within the Post Training Team, liaising with instructors/assessors, clients and Awarding Organisations to ensure the timely and accurate submission of course paperwork and the issue of certification. You will be responsible for processing post course paperwork across all awarding organisations ensuring company standards are adhered to and client KPI’s are met with regards to timescales for receipt of attendance registers and certification. Using your problem solving and communication skills you will handle any discrepancies through liaising with the instructors/assessors via telephone or email, ensuring all emails are responded to within 24 hours. 

You will be required to process course feedback from both candidates and instructors/assessors ensuring the booking system is updated and clients are made aware of any issues. Update records of training details within SharePoint in line with company standards ensuring accuracy of data. Send certificates to clients ensuring company processes and client agreements are followed. You will need to log instructor paperwork in line with internal processes and company standards.

The role is computer based, so experience with IT and administration will help you integrate into their bright and close-knit team. Therefore, you must have knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

This role is based near the M1, North Yorkshire. Commutable from Richmond and Thirsk.

Essential Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT Skills such as Outlook, Excel and Word is essential. (MS Teams would also be an advantage as would any SharePoint knowledge)
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Be able to work as part of a team whilst also taking responsibility for your own duties.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail when inputting data.
  • Desire to work as part of a professional team, but also enjoying the social aspects of the business.

The salary starts at £22,000 with increases over time depending on performance, the first being after the initial probationary period.
