About the Internship
We are looking for a motivated and digitally minded AI Implementation Intern to help drive their AI adoption journey across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital transformation, business analysis and AI implementation within a real-world commercial environment. Working closely with the IT Manager and senior leadership team, you will assess existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, research available tools and support the deployment of AI solutions that improve business efficiency.
The recommended work pattern for this internship is 25 hours a week for 6 weeks totalling 150 hours and you will be required to work onsite in Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities
As an AI Implementation Intern, you will:
- Review and analyse current business and administrative processes
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation could improve efficiency
- Meet with employees and stakeholders to understand existing workflows and challenges
- Research and evaluate AI tools and technologies against business requirements
- Produce reports, recommendations and presentations outlining proposed solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Support the implementation and testing of selected AI solutions
- Assist with integrating AI into activities such as:
- Document creation
- Meeting summarisation
- Data analysis
- Reporting
- Customer communications
- Create user guides, training materials and process documentation

- ERP system exposure
- Presentation and report-writing experience
Support and Mentoring
You will be supported throughout the internship by the IT manager providing mentorship and guidance. The team will also offer a supportive environment to contribute towards the project. You will have access to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot and other business systems required to successfully complete the project, along with regular guidance and mentoring.
