Have you recently graduated from a science related degree program? Are you able to set up, carry out and write up small scale scientific research? Do you like working outdoors?

This company based in West Yorkshire provides scientific services to businesses operating in sports and recreation. They have a lab-based team who analyse different chemical products and report back to make sure that all substances are safe to use.

Working in a close-knit team, your role will involve data analysis, use of scientific instruments and report writing, as well as managing the logistics to carry out the experiments. This could mean going out to site, purchasing the equipment and managing the stock needed to carry out the experiments safely.
As long as your degree has included a scientific element and you understand the protocols around carrying out experiments and trials, as well as possessing solid report writing skills, you will be able to carry out this role.

We are particularly interested in hearing from graduates in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Sports Science, Environmental Science or Agricultural science.

Work experience in this field isn’t necessary although if you have previously worked as a lab technician this would be a bonus. Experience of working with customers and delivering presentations would also be useful.

Office based role, Mon-Fri, 36.25 hours, local travel and occasional evening and weekend work. A UK Driving License is required for work related travel. Commutable from Bradford, Bingley, Keighley, Skipton, Halifax, Leeds.
