British Mica is a long-established engineering business currently implementing the ERP system and investing in digital transformation to modernise processes, improve efficiency and reduce manual administration.
 
The Opportunity
This internship offers the chance to work directly with senior leaders on a range of digital improvement projects that will have a real impact on the business.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the rollout and optimisation of the ERP system.
  • Analyse business processes and identify efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and test automation and AI solutions to reduce manual data entry.
  • Assist with cloud migration and digitisation projects.
  • Help implement shared calendars, task management and collaboration tools.
  • Review and validate business data across existing and new systems.
  • Produce reports and analyse operational data.
  • Support staff adoption of new digital processes and technologies.
What we're looking for
  • Studying or graduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • Interested in ERP systems, digital transformation, automation, and AI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Confident communicating with colleagues across the business.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working within a growing SME.
