The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern to support a business-critical project focused on improving manufacturing efficiency and introducing digital solutions across business operations such as automation. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in manufacturing, operations, process improvement, automation, data analysis, or digital transformation.
You will have the opportunity to review real production processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and develop practical digital solutions that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and analyse manufacturing and administrative processes.
- Map workflows covering raw material receipt, production, bottling, labelling, cleaning, palletisation and dispatch.
- Identify bottlenecks, repetitive tasks and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess production-line layout and material flow to improve operational efficiency.
- Create and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key manufacturing activities.
- Review country-specific product labelling requirements and improve digital record management.
- Investigate automation, AI and digital workflow tools.
- Develop and test a digital proof of concept such as:
- Automated spreadsheets
- Digital checklists
- Reporting dashboards
- Label generation tools
- Workflow automation solutions
- Collect and analyse operational data.
- Present findings, recommendations and implementation plans to management

From this internship, you'll gain hands-on experience in a live manufacturing and R&D environment, working directly with the founder and technical team to deliver meaningful improvements that will support the future growth of the business.
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on a growing AgriTech business whilst developing key industry skills.
You'll receive ongoing support throughout the internship from the company's founder and will be provided with the appropriate equipment required to complete the project successfully. This internship is looking to be completed full time (around 37.5 hours a week for 5-6 weeks) however part time completion around your studies can be considered (around 25 hours a week for 8 weeks).
